Shunji Matsuo started Makeover Magic in Japan and Singapore from 2013 annually to encourage senior and cancer patients to embrace life in a positive way, showing that colour and beauty do not fade even when one ages or suffers from an illness. Unfortunately, Shunji-san passed away in Oct 2017 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. However, his legacy to inspire continues to live on through the yearly Makeover Magic event.

During the event, 24 senior survivors and cancer patients will be given a makeover and transformed into confident fashion-forward models, together with veteran celebrities Jin Yinji and Liu Ling Ling, in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation. They will take the stage at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre for a catwalk with approximately 500 event attendees cheering them on during the event.

This year, EOS World has been given 10 exclusive slots for our members to capture beautiful moments at the event led by EOS World Community Ambassador, Ryan Cheng.
