Get To Know Dirt Bike Racing

Participants ride their bikes through a course or route within a stipulated time. The race course includes obstacles varying from mud, dirt, fallen trees to navigating through a heavily forested area.

Participants begin their race according to the level of expertise, from Novice, Intermediate to Advance. Some may finish in good shape and some drop out due to exhaustion or mechanical breakdown. Such races challenges the participant’s adaptability, sense of adventure and observation skills.

Weatherproof And Hydrate

To shoot bike photography, prepare for the adverse conditions by waterproofing gears, bringing a water bag for hydration, using sunblock or sun protection wear, wearing weatherproof footwear and training your physical stamina.

Ready Your Camera For The Action

The most common camera settings for bike photography is to set shutter speed at 1/60- 1/400 for an action shot panning to freezing water splashes. ISO 200 or as high as possible, but before your camera sensor produces noticeable noise.
