The Canon PhotoMarathon Singapore XIV 2016 was a huge success!

Held at Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre, the region’s largest annual photography competition challenged approximately 2,000 photography enthusiasts to turn their creative ideas into splendid photographs based on 3 different themes revealed at different times of the day, all under time pressure.

Participants of Canon PhotoMarathon Singapore XIV 2016 stood a chance to win $100,000.00 SGD worth of attractive prizes, including Canon’s latest cameras – the EOS 5D Mark IV, EOS 7D Mark II, EOS 80D, EOS 760D, and EOS M3.

In its ‘Best of Show’ category, the competition rewarded photographers who submitted outstanding work in all 3 themes with an all-expense paid photo clinic trip to Japan. A lucky participant also won a pair of Premium Economy air tickets to Europe on Lufthansa Airlines in the grand lucky draw.

A highlight in this year’s PhotoMarathon was the embodiment of “Kyosei”, the second theme the participants shot for, which represents the event’s spirit in bringing together individuals united in their passion and culture in photography.
